Professionally, Lois has been in the field of psychotherapy for over 37 years! Rather than calling herself 'older' she prefers to describe herself as 'wiser' just because of all of her various lived experiences and not because of any super human feat! Over her life span she developed a number of specialties in the areas of trauma and attachment, family therapy and clinical consultation and supervision. She is IFS Level 1,2,3 and Somatic IFS trained and is an approved consultant in the Internal Family Systems Model of Psychotherapy. She is also a certified clinician and an approved consultant for Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR/EMDRIA). While she has assisted at an IFS Level 1 and been a trainer at numerous IFS annual conferences (including two times as a Keynote full day speaker) most recently, she has assisted at Susan McConnell's Somatic IFS trainings and retreats as well as provided 30 hour clinical consultation online trainings for the Mentor program in Compassionate Inquiry. Lois has also offered 20 hour Introduction to IFS trainings and IFS Conceptual Overviews on a yearly basis for the last 11 years. She has integrated both IFS and EMDR into her treatment specializations of developmental trauma/ attachment wounds, clinical supervision and consultation and the health and wellness in the person of the therapist. In addition she administered and developed a number of human services organizations and some professionals request her guidance on those issues as well. In 2008 Lois developed, founded, and administered an outpatient trauma center that incorporated various trauma reduction empirically validated treatment for clients across the life span. Lois retired from direct care in September of 2022 and continues to conduct various trainings and clinical consultation.

On a more personal note Lois finds herself in the sunset of her career as a grandmother of three young girls who bring much light to her heart whenever she thinks about them! She has been married to her husband Bob for over 42 years and now they share in their semi retirement gig the management of her professional trainings. Lois loves the beach and has a semi retirement home at the NJ shore. She also loves the hills and valleys she experiences in the family home in central Pennsylvania. Crocheting, bike riding, journaling, meditation and art work are how she nurtures her own soul and spirit and how she promotes her own self care. Lois feels blessed and honored to be providing this training to others who have journeyed on the professional helper/healer path.

Mary is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, having over 35 years of extensive experience working in the mental health field providing educational and therapeutic services to adults, children and families. Much of her professional focus and specialization has been on trauma healing, resolution and resilience. She has considerable experience working with and healing attachment wounds and trauma in childhood. Mary is a Certified IFS Therapist, an IFS Approved Clinical Consultant, and has served several times as a Program Assistant with the IFS Institute. Mary is also a Board Certified Coach and a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider. She has over 90 hours of training in EMDR as well. Currently, in addition to providing online IFS therapy, Mary offers both individual and group IFS Consultation and support to clinicians in Canada, the U.S. and in Europe. She facilitates / co-facilitates IFS trainings and experiential workshops. Mary is committed to supporting the development and expansion of the global IFS community and a culture of Self-leadership, especially within the clinical professions.
